The Phoenix Youth Group offers activities and workshops for youth in grades 4 -6.
Our weekend workshops help youth learn more about emotions, thoughts, stress and self-compassion. The day engages youth with art activities, videos, and chances to win prizes. Youth will be building a “Feeling’s First Aid Kit that they take home with them after the workshop. This kit includes several coping skills and fidgets to help youth deal with difficult emotions and thoughts that we practice with throughout the day.
We now offer a second additional day workshop for our Phoenix Youth! See the dates below for our upcoming programming.
This workshop is free to any youth. To register click on the registration/referral form.
Upcoming workshops: Day One
Upcoming workshops: Day Two
“This program is amazing. My daughter absolutely loves it; and seems to have learned so much in such a short time. Thank you so much.” – Parent
Our evening activities aim to bring youth together for an art project while building friendships. Each craft night ends with a wellness activity facilitated by one of our youth program staff.
These activities will take place on the last Wednesday of each month and run virtually from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
If you know a youth who would be interested in our evening activities email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office at 780-539-7142.
“Breathe when stressed or overwhelmed, speak to an adult if there is a problem to share.” – Preteen
